Associate/Senior Associate, Senior Leadership Team

Global Counsel is looking for an Associate / Senior Associate to complement the executive team and ensure maximum effectiveness of the CEO, President, Chair, Managing Directors and Senior Director as they drive GC’s strategic objectives.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the centre of GC’s corporate strategy by providing effective support and advice to the Senior Leadership Team across a wide range of business areas, including client relationships, business development, internal communications and GC’s growth strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high quality and timely briefing is provided and will be the interface between the senior team and GC’s offices.
The role is open to individuals with 3-5 years’ experience in project management, executive support or other relevant roles where they have had to demonstrate strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support
→ Prepare briefing materials, agendas, and presentations for travel, client meetings, speaking engagements and business development.
→ Undertake research projects to support the senior leadership.
→ Communicate with senior executives, clients, and wider GC network on behalf the executive team, ensuring timely follow-up on actions.
→ Use your relationships, judgement and understanding of the wider context to support the CEO in their work and to add value to the process and substance of decision making
→ Contribute to the production of papers, organization of activities, and other support of the GC board.
→ Building out the external brand of GC’s leadership with responsibility for speaking engagements & social media.
Operational Excellence
→ Manage diary and scheduling, client deliverables and new business activities for the executive team.
→ Manage special projects and initiatives on behalf of the executive team, setting and tracking project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
Building Relationships
→ Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
→ Liaise with board members, clients and wider GC network.
→ Act as an ambassador for the CEO and the company.
→ Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and discretion.
Skills:
→ Excellent project management, organizational and time management skills.
→ Proficiency in software used by client teams, namely Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google products.
→ Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
→ Discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
→ Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is key.
