Senior Associate, Marketing & Events

Global Counsel is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Delivery team as a Marketing and Events Senior Associate in London.
The Marketing and Events Senior Associate supports day to day digital marketing activities, as well as the organisation and execution of a broad range of in-person and digital events. The desired candidate will have an appetite for action and desire to deliver events and marketing projects within a fast-growing, global organization.
Responsibilities:
- Organize a range of events in-person and digital events end to end. In person events, including regular briefings, high-level lunches or dinners, receptions, conferences, will predominantly be held in London but there will be an opportunity to support events in Brussels and elsewhere in Europe.
- Work closely with each Global Counsel practice and wider delivery team to agree plan for operationalizing event ideas, manage budgets and agree event KPIs.
- Develop marketing collateral for events – pre, during and post - including invitations, event hub pages, newsletters, and other digital content.
- Provide post-event debriefs, summarizing impact, lessons learned, and reviewing vendors and budgets.
Skills profile:
- 3-5 years of experience with an emphasis on event design and execution.
- Ability to stay up-to-date on innovative programming platforms and formats, and understand how to advance Global Counsel’s analysis, research and offer through events.
- Strong interpersonal skills and presence, working with internal and external clients at all levels.
- Ability to work independently, assuming responsibility, prioritizing and carrying out duties with minimum supervision.
- Excellent organizational skills, speaking and written communication skills.
- Ability to deliver multiple projects simultaneously, knowing when to prioritize, set and meet deadlines.
